I am an accomplished lecturer and teacher with decades of experience in teaching GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature online, in schools and FE colleges; English as a Second Language and English as a Foreign Language, as well as Modern Greek in Adult Education.
I have worked as an examinor for the AQA Examination Board for several years, which has provided me with in-house training both in marking and the skills they are looking for and how to approach the exam questions in order to earn excellent results.
I moved to Athens with my family when I was eight years old and attended Greek education there; therefore, I am fully bilingual and can speak, read and write both English and Greek fluently.
Upon returning to England I went to the University of Sheffield where I was awarded a BA (Hons) degree in English Language and Literature, then an MA (Research Track) in Historical Language Studies followed on with my PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
More recently, I earned another MA degree in Systematic and Philosophical Theology at the University of Nottingham.
I hold the Cambridge CELTA certificate for teaching English to speakers of other languages and currently completing the Cambridge DELTA course (Diploma in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), which is the best known and most popular advanced TEFL/TESOL qualifications in the world, which I have fully enjoyed due to the support of my own excellent tutors.
